Comments, Questions, Extra Notes
- Diphtheria- Mr Leslie Edwards had diphtheria and the school was closed
- Before Mr Edwards left the district, after six years at the school, the Clyde residents gave him cutlery & students gave him a camera as a token of their gratitude.
- Mr F Myring and Mr C Kershaw lead the school into District Sports Victories.
- Mr F Myring the first teacher to use the residence.
- Mr Frank Myring was iInvolved in the Clyde Community eg Mechanics Institute Secretary 1931, Tennis Club Treasurer 1929, and President in 1930.
- Miss Inez Hunter was a Sewing Mistress, an accomplished singer and musician, began her teaching career in Clyde in 1918 and continued until 1952, a total of 34 years.
- Mr Frank Myring (1926-33) and Mr George Reid (1936-1944) were the two longest serving head teachers - 8 years each.
